Vote is continuing on "Rīgas satiksme" website for best drawing to be printed on yellow e-tickets

Starting from June 4, every visitor of "Rīgas satiksme" website can evaluate children’s drawings and vote for the best one, which will be printed on yellow e-tickets this autumn. The vote will continue until early July, and the new e-tickets with the best drawing may be put on sale this autumn.

Some 2203 people have voted in two weeks, putting the drawing of the new low-floor tram by Vineta at the first place with 598 votes or 27.14% (see the drawing in the press release). It is followed by the drawings of the new tram by Viktors with 292 votes (13.25%) and Dmitrijs2 with 173 votes (7.85%). All drawings can be seen and voted for at the website of "Rīgas satiksme" at www.rigassatiksme.lv until July 5.

As reported earlier, on June 1 the new low-floor tram made its first trip. As this day coincided with the International Child Protection Day, a special event was held at tram depot No. 5 for children from Riga orphanages. The event started with a guided tour of the tram depot, after which children made drawings of what they had seen at the depot under the guidance of artist Jānis Anmanis. Now these drawings are available at the website of Rīgas satiksme, which every visitor can evaluate and vote for.
